Kenwood Towne Place To Enter Receivership Tuesday

There’s more financial trouble for Kenwood Towne Place.

It’s scheduled to be placed in receivership Tuesday as a foreclosure lawsuit by its lender goes to court.

Bank of America has filed suit seeking repayment of more than $81 million in loans and a sheriff's sale of the mixed-use development.

Work on the site was suspended months ago, but some of the key tenants including Crate and Barrel, the Container Store and Kroger Fresh Fare are up and running.
