Former Reds outfielder Ken Griffey Junior has moved up a slot on the all-time home run list.
He hit his 610th homerun at the Twins' Metrodome in Minneapolis. It happened in the ninth inning off a pitch from reliever Matt Guerrier.
Junior has now passed Sammy Sosa and is all alone in 5th place on the all-time homerun list. But it wasn't enough for a win Tuesday night. The Twins won 9 to 3.
