The man who was seriously injured in a bicycle accident in Fairfield on Wednesday has been identified.
Fairfield police had been trying to identify him since the accident. Officials believe he suffered a severe head injury after he lost control of his bike on Firestone Drive around 1:30 p.m.
According to police, someone recognized him after seeing his picture in the media.
Police say the man's family has been notified. His name has not been released.
He is currently in stable condition at University Hospital.
