CRESCENT SPRINGS, Ky. -- Firefighters responded to a house fire in the 800 block of Winterberry Court Tuesday night. That's where a fire started in an electrical outlet in the couple's bedroom.
Once the couple got the dogs out of the house the wife went to the neighbor's house to call 911 while the husband fought the fire with a garden hose.
He was joined by his neighbor and the two fought the fire until fire crews arrived.
They were treated for slight smoke inhalation at the scene, but refused transport to the hospital.
