5:15 p.m. - The accident on SB I-75/I-71 at Kyles Lane is clear and all lanes are open. Traffic is still backed up into Covington.

4:45 p.m. - Slow traffic is being reported on I-75 South between I-75 and the bridge, between Galbraith Road and Mitchell Avenue, on I-71 Northbound between Mason Montgomery Road and Western Row Road, and on I-71 Southbound between the ballpark and I-75.

4:30 p.m. - Drivers should expect heavy traffic on I-275 Westbound between Mosteller Road and Route 4.

3:50 p.m. - I-75 Southbound between the Western Hills Viaduct and the Brent Spence Bridge is slow. More accidents are being reported as we head into rush hour in the Tri-State.

2:30 p.m. - A disabled semi is causing some major back-ups on I-71 South in the Kenwood Road area. The truck is stuck in the middle of the highway. Clear time was expected to be 2:15 p.m., but it is still causing problems.

12:20 p.m. - The roads in the Tri-State are still slippery. Snow is still covering some of the interstates and most of the side streets. The ramps, overpasses and bridges are even more slick in some spots. Road crews are working. Drivers are urged to use caution.

11:55 a.m. - I-75 North has been reopened. Check out this list of winter driving tips for these slick conditions.

11:10 a.m. - I-75 North is closed between Union Center Blvd and Cincinnati Dayton road to be deiced.

10:00 a.m. - 9News Reporter Bill Price is stuck in bumper to bumper traffic on I-275.  It is backed up from Beechmont Avenue to the Ohio River, even after 9 a.m. when most Cincinnati rush hours are over.  He says it's not clear what's triggering the severe backup.

Here is a picture of the scene taken by Bill Price:

9:30 a.m. - Many residential and side streets remain snow covered. Click here for information on the efforts to clear them.

8:36 a.m. - The City of Cincinnati is still under a snow emergency. Police will again be towing cars parked along emergency snow routes. Click here for a map of emergency snow routes.

8:26 a.m. - SR 32 around I-275 is very slick. Cars are sliding off the road. Drivers are also having trouble on I-275 around the airport.

8:15 a.m. - I-71 has reopened. Traffic is moving, but moving slowly.

7:25 a.m. - Traffic is really backing up on both sides of I-71 near I-275. The road is still closed.

6:55 a.m. - Police have closed northbound I-71 at I-275. The eastbound and westbound I-275 ramps to northbound I- 71 are also blocked for snow & ice removal.

6:48 a.m. - Amazingly, the Cut-in-the-Hill is reportedly the most clear route from Northern Kentucky into Downtown this morning. It seems the extra attention from road crews yesterday is paying off in this difficult area.

6:09 a.m. - Traffic is backing up on a northern section of I-71 after icy conditions caused a four car crash involving a Hamilton County sheriff's deputy. Click here to read more about this crash.

5:53 a.m. - A few accidents are being reported. It seems the roads look better than they are in some places.

4:45 a.m. - The usual problem areas of the Cut-in-the-Hill and the Kenwood cut are moving well, thanks to extra attention from road crews overnight.

4:30 a.m. - 9News Meteorologist Larry Handley warns of scattered snow patches on roads as the temperature is still low enough to freeze. Be careful not to have a false sense of security because you never know when you will suddenly come to an ice or snow patch.

4:15 a.m. - The major interstates are looking better for today's morning commute. It is possible to even drive the speed limit in the lanes free of snow. Many side streets are still snow covered. As always, watch out for black ice.
