FORT WRIGHT, Ky. -- A 100-year-old house came tumbling to the ground Thursday in Fort Wright.

The land is being cleared for a new Walgreens to be built at the corner of Kyles Lane and Dixie Highway.

The house has been abandoned for some time.

There currently is a Walgreens in a shopping center down the road, but the builders say want to make a freestanding store.

A free-standing store is expected to be completed near the end of next year or possibly early 2011.
