As a mother I can't even begin to imagine what this family is going through! Things happen so fast, and in the blink of an eye your life can be forever changed! My thoughts and prayers go out to the family and loved ones of this little angel!! God bless you!

wickedladybug.. I understood what he was trying to say... but it is not what he typed. I was merely trying to point out that people without at least a high school diploma shouldn't have opinions. Thanks for proving my point.

Nightstalker - what does this story or anyones comments belowe have anything to do with people having more kids than they can afford?

Truly a tragedy, My heart goes out to the family especially the father who will have to live with this. It is true you cannot watch children every second of the day and even the best of parents can have a tragedy like this happen. We are human. We are NOT perfect. I have noticed a few of the larger lawn mowers/lawn tractors have rear view mirrors on the handlebars or mounted on the sides of the chassis next to the steering wheel... Personally I think they all should have them. It's not a perfect plan, but it may help reduce accidents like this. (I don't know if the mower the father was using was equipped with these mirrors, but if not, they may have made a difference.) And as for certain posters who decide to submit their entire life story to prove a point... Suck it up and be man. Sheesh. We all have problems and you're not the only one. Want a quick fix for your problem? Try not having more kids then you can afford. Stop blaming others like the government and "rich folk" for your indiscretions.

theerk. Do we need to explain what that means? You obviously didn't understand what that meant.

theerk--YOU need to read winsomebulldog's comment over and over again until YOU understand it.Since you seem to be the only one that don't.

winsomebulldog - I could not agree more.. I have young kids we have an above ground pool.. 2 weeks ago while having a b-day party for my one daughter my other daughter snuk off the deck and got in the pool without her life jacket and literally it was a SPLIT second i turned my back and it happened. We were all sitting right there on the deck 1 foot from the pool and it happens so quick. I hate when i see things like this happen and you see these people who get on here and bash the parents when they dont know the full story.. Yes its my fault she got in the pool but it was a split second and it could have ended like this story. People shouldnt be so quick to judge.. This mom and dad will be suffering until the day they die over this. Prayers be with them!

I saw the story this evening on the news, as I watched my two and a half year old grandson play with his papaw. I am still awake at this late hour because I can't go to sleep with this on my mind. I will have this family in my thoughts and prayers. God bless them!

"Beware or you might just be the next person caught in a horrific tragedy who gets ripped to shreds by a heartless know-it-all like yourself. ' So you yourself are calling the father a heartless know it all? You argument would be more effective if it made sense.
