Why not send the inmates in the jail a bill for their stay? And stop making ONLY the people who CAN afford to go to treatment centers pay and make EVERYONE pay. Just put it on their crime committed, just like child support. I mean its the tax payers who support these inmates in jail, right? Or who pay for the people who get treatment, but can't afford it, right? If parents are held accountable for paying for their kids, even when they cant afford it. Then why not hold these criminals accountable for their cost to keep them locked up? They broke the law, they did the crime, they are doing the time...So make them pay the dime!!
