We don't need to sell the stadium. Put a dome on it, a few walls and bars and use it for a jail. Brown is holding the city prisoners anyway. Why not use it for something worth while?

Lets change the proposed number to 536, we'll cut each commissioner's pay by half, and get rid of the administrator, let's turn the Freedom Center into the next Queensgate facilty. The Banks project is great, It's just odd on How I have to cross the river to get to it. When the Sheriffs Office was present in Over The Rhine,I was considering investing in property. Now they are not there it is going back to what it once was. I can't go to Green Township, Colerain Township, or Anderson Township, If Police Services are cut or Eliminated, I will start looking towards a different county. Layoffs Will effect the entire community, I believe it should effect the Administration/Commissioners also.

Get rid of "double dippers", force retirement, fire those who do nothing (alot of them), reduce the number of workhours from 40 to 35 maybe, increase the premium of employees share of benefits, restructure the payscale and they should be a little better than before. Something is better than nothing. Oh yeah, start investigating (make tougher laws)all of the "welfare" recipients on a weekly basis. I'm sure there's a lot of wasteful dollars going there that could be used for the county.

As a previous county employee, they clearly need to do a couple things... they need to rid of the double dippers and cut some of the "chiefs" as there is way too many anyhow! If nothing else, reduce the pay starting at the top as most of them make WAY TOO MUCH! Of course, they always could start putting the pressure on the employees that "don't" do their job!

I work for the Sheriff's office and I have not had an annual raise for 5 years or a cost of living raise in 3 years. My insurance has increased $100 per pay check and my deductible is $2,000. I am a single mother and now I have this to worry about. If the jail tax was passed maybe 532 people would not be losing their jobs and the communities would be safer. I blame the County Commissioner. Let's save money and cut one of their jobs.

There are a LOT of people working there who have been eligible for Retirement for years! How about getting rid of them?

How's about closing that monry losing "instill white guilt" Underground Railroad museuum that's currently costing the city MINUS 8,5 million a year?

What sounds better?? the NEWPORT BENGALS or the COVINGTON BENGALS?? sell the stadium, sell the team, whatever...oh yea and why doesn't the county do what the rest of us are doing...cut the fat (i.e THE BANKS!!!) It is not like anyone will have the money to shop there anyway.
