You probably do it at home.

But only a handful of local bars and restaurants do it.

And that's why "Greener Cincinnati" held its recycling kickoff event at Arnold's Bar and Grill downtown Thursday night.

The group hopes to encourage more local businesses to start recycling.

"About 60% of what goes into a landfill could go into recycling," says Tricia Suit, of Greener Cincinnati.

"If young professionals were aware of whether or not their bars were recycling, they probably would choose to go to a bar that does recycle,” she said.

“It's a commitment that they're making to the environment and they want the businesses they're working with to do the same thing," she added.

Arnold's Bar & Grill is one of just a few bars in Cincinnati that chooses to recycle.
