Fifty-two-year-old Wanda Vance is charged with felony domestic violence and felony endangering children after her arrest at her Silverton Avenue home.
Police say she caused serious harm to her 10-year-old granddaughter by choking her, hitting her in the face with her fist, and beating her with a leather belt.
The child's status is not known.
