LOCKLAND, Ohio -- Investigators are trying to determine what caused an early morning fire that destroyed part of a Lockland trucking company.
Crews were called to the JR Trucking Company at 205 Smalley Road around 2:45 a.m.
Firefighters say the fire appeared to have started in a trailer that serves as an office then spread to an adjacent building.
Officials say they are not ruling out arson because of reports of bad blood between the company and several employees it had to let go of recently.
Lockland Fire Chief Bill Welshans says his crews had to be carefully in fighting the fire because of the structure's aluminum siding and construction.
A Lockland firefighter suffered a twisted ankle during the fire.
