Firefighters spent more than an hour Wednesday ventilating the Hot Wok restaurant in Fort Wright after an early morning fire.
According to officials, the fire started just before 12:30 a.m. in the kitchen of the Chinese restaurant on
Valley Plaza Parkway, just off of Kentucky 17.
Firefighters say the sprinkler system put out the fire before they arrived, but crews remained on the scene to help the business owner ventilate the smoke from the restaurant.
No one was injured in the fire.
