CINCINNATI -- The FAA says a computer glitch that delayed flights all over the country Thursday morning has been fixed.

This was the second time in 15 months that a glitch created such problems.

The Federal Aviation Administration said the problem was fixed around 10 a.m., but it was unclear how long flights would continue to be affected.

Even though the FAA said Thursday the problem had been solved, Doug Church, a spokesman for the National Air Traffic Controllers Union, said controllers were still entering flight plans manually into computers in some locations.

Flights at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport went from on-time status to "unknown" starting around 8 a.m.

The glitch reportedly would not allow pilots to obtain flight plans forcing them to input the plans manually. Flights in the air were not affected.

Passengers are still urged to check their flight's status no matter what time the flight is. To check on flights at CVG, click here. These delays could push schedules back significantly all day Thursday.
