Layoffs of 100 Cincinnati Enquirer and CinWeekly employees yesterday also affected the newspaper's popular conservative columnist, Peter Bronson.
Bronson posted a message on his blog,
Bronson is Always Right, around 5 p.m. July 8 in which he confirmed his release. Although the blog post was later taken down, CityBeat transcribed the blog entry on its Web site.
In the blog post Bronson states that he saw the cut coming but it did not make it easier. He also mentioned that he would address the issue further in his print column in Friday's issue of the Cincinnati Enquirer.
