A fund is now in place to help people laid off from Miami University.

The school announced a few months ago that it was laying off dozens of employees. June 30th was the last day at work for the employees.

Former MU workers may apply for aid at the Oxford Family Resource Center located at 5445 College Corner Pike.

Officials say the employees should bring a letter from the University saying that they are part of the layoff.

Organizers are also looking for donations. There is about $3,000 currently in the fund.

If you are interested in making a donation, you can send checks to Oxford Family Resource Center, P.O. Box 108, Oxford, Ohio 45056.

Please make checks payable to FRC and write Miami U. Emergency Fund on the memo line.
