Crews are cleaning up after an early morning fire at a popular Tri-State Italian restaurant.
According to officials, security officers discovered the small fire in the kitchen of
Maggiano's Little Italy in the Kenwood Towne Center on
Montgomery Road just after 5 Tuesday morning.
Firefighters quickly arrived on the scene and extinguished the flames before they could spread beyond the kitchen area.
The board of health is responding to inspect the building. As of early Tuesday morning, the restaurant is scheduled to open as usual.
