PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- Defending champion Philadelphia is facing a must-win situation tonight when it hosts the Yankees for Game 5 of the World Series.
After capturing the opener in New York, the Phillies have dropped three straight in the best-of-seven showdown for the title, including the last two in their home ballpark.
On the plus side, the Phils send Game 1 winner Cliff Lee to the mound this evening. The 2008 AL Cy Young Award winner has three victories and a 0.54 ERA this postseason.
The Yanks will hand the ball to Game 2 winner A.J. Burnett on three days' rest, hoping he can help them nail down their 27th World Series championship.
