The southbound lanes of I-75 in the Middletown area remain shut down after a deadly motorcycle crash Wednesday night.
Police say a man on a motorcycle was traveling at a high rate of speed when he rear-ended a dump truck pulling out of a construction zone on I-75. He died at the scene.
The accident happened around 8:20 p.m. near the State Route 122 exit (#32) in western Warren County.
Traffic is being re-routed, but details on the detour routes have not yet been announced.
Emergency crews considered shutting down the northbound lanes as well.
The victim's name has not been released.
