I agree Shame on this family for doing this b/s to their daughter and her boyfriend. Most babies are not planned. Abstinence did not work....let's remember that. I bet this poor boy has been threatened and forced to marry this girl. He said he did not want to marry. How dare them use this. that is terrible. And you're right, if it had been Obama....can you imagine what would be said! Poor Chelsea was out of the pictures and all the talk radio nuts were bashing her and making fun of her appearance. This is where we have gone with this in this country. Dobson is a nut who sexually assaulted and mistreated his wife. He is no one to tell others how to live. Limbaugh was caught with viagra in countries where girls as young as 10 are prostituted out. McCain had an affair, Palin had an affair, so many. I am disgusted by their holier than thou act when they are not.

Shame on the Republican Party and Shame on John McCain! I'm appalled at the misguided judgement of Mr. McCain. His lack of upholding and standing up for us conservatives is utterly disrespectful and I am sorry that I contributed to his campaign! As of today I stopped my bi- monthly contribution, I am sickened by this behavior!!

I thought abstinence was the only solution? I guess that didn't work. I think Palin will not accept the nomination and McSame will be searching for a new VP soon.

From what I've heard on this so far Republicans seem to be sympathetic to the "situation." They praise the Palin family for their "pro-choice" decision. I think the whole thing is a bunch of crap. If Barack Obama had a 17 year old daughter who was pregnant the right wing would be mud slinging and talking about how they were promiscuous heathens hell bent on having sex. Amazing how differently things look when it's a Republican in the lime light on this issue.
