A Utah coroner says more DNA testing must be done before remains found in a burned car can be identified.

Police in Utah notified Jay and Paula Ruble of Maysville last week that their son Zach's car was found burning in a remote location in southern Utah.

Inside the car police found human remains which now take several more weeks before they are identified.

Zach is a graduate of Mason County High School and is currently a student at the University Of Utah.

His parents issued a statement on Wednesday saying, "We are very concerned with the disappearance of our son Zachary. We are working diligently with law enforcement in the ongoing investigation Information is being released at the direction of the investigators. We are thankful for the prayers and support of family, friends & community."
