NORWOOD, Ohio -- Workers at Joseph Beth Booksellers in the Rookwood Pavilion spent Friday morning putting last minute touches on their store to get ready for more than 1,000 people expected to crowd in for Sarah Palin's book signing.
The bookstore has set up its second floor business/computers balcony section for the noon book signing, with a private area where Palin supporters will walk up stairs and personally meet the former Vice Presidential candidate and get their books signed.
Joseph Beth says it has already given out all of its available confirmation and line tickets as Palin makes her fourth stop in her 13-city book signing tour for her new book, "Going Rogue". Bookstore workers say they don't expect anyone who doesn't already have a line ticket to be able to get to see Palin or have a book signed on Friday.
However, Joseph Beth says it will have Palin sign extra copies of her new book, that will be available for sale at the Norwood store on Saturday.
Joseph Beth closed its bookstore to the public between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. accommodate the book signing. Only people with line tickets and confirmation letters were allowed inside the store after 10 a.m.
By 8:30 a.m., the parking lot in front of Joseph Beth was packed.
Palin will be signing at least 1,000 books Friday during her 3-hour appearance.
Published reports indicate she may have gotten into the Tri-State early to hold a private, invitation only reception for her SarahPAC that will be open to Republican donors and supporters at an undisclosed location.
