The Associated Press has reported that it is projected that both Democratic Senator Barack Obama and Republican Senator John McCain have won the Vermont primary.

That would mean 12 consecutive victories for Obama.

It has been reported that his Democratic rival, Senator Hillary Clinton, needs Ohio and Texas to stop his momentum, and that Ohio is seen as her "firewall."

With voting irregularities in the State of Ohio due to weather and other "glitches," it could be late into the night before Clinton takes to the podium in Columbus, Ohio.

The polls are staying open later in Clermont County after they ran out of Democratic ballots there Tuesday night.

More Democratic ballots arrived just before the polls were scheduled to close at 7:30 p.m.

Voters were told to stay put, and that as long as they were in place by 7:30 p.m., they would be able to cast their votes.
