I lived in OTR for one year because i went to school there and in that year some one pulled a gun on my friend because he walked too close to this guy, a girl in my class got beat up and left for dead for 8 dollars. Luckily she was found and was able to recover. My car got broken into, along with many others in my class.i watched a bullet fly past my face and go through a windshield of a car that some one was sitting in. missed his head by a few inches, and mine by a few feet. I heard gun shots every single night. I was followed by a gang of thugs every day on my way to class. I guess just trying to intimidate a little white girl in their neighborhood.a criminal broke in to my locked apt. building and i found him hiding from the cops in the laundry room. Then he pulled a gun on me and told me to get the F out of here and keep my mouth shut. That's all just the top of my head. That was 5 years ago so i'm sure if i thought harder i could remember some more. So i don't know if it's the most dangerous place in the country, but probably OH, and definatly Cincinnati. I would never go back there, and any one who does is just as stupid as i was 5 years ago.

Maybe fear shouldn't keep people out of the area, but common sense should. I have never heard anyone say that OTR is a nice place to live and a safe place to raise a family. I certainly won't ever go there on purpose.
