Police say a suspected drunk driver was determined not to let flipping his car prevent him from getting to his destination early Tuesday morning.
According to police, the man was driving south on Hamilton Avenue in North College Hill around 1:30 a.m. when he somehow lost control of his vehicle as he turned onto
Clovernoll Drive.
The car reportedly struck a telephone guide wire and flipped onto its side.
That is when police say the driver got out of the crashed car and attempted to flip it back over himself in an effort to drive off before they arrived.
Fortunately for police, he was unsuccessful. They arrested the man on suspicion of drunk driving. Officials say he will be given a breath test and could be charged with OVI.
His name has not been released.
