My heart goes out to both families. It's sad to know that my neighbors are going to have to grow up without there grandfather now! Will never know what really happened or why things ended the way they did just hope that the families can deal with the loss.

We will never know what happened. He was a close friend of of my family for the last 20 years. All he talked about with us was how much he loved his kids and grandchildren. Now this being said, this was inexcusable, but how are we to judge what happened when we ourselves will never know the truth. My deepest condolences go out to the families of both people this trully was a senseless tradgedy, my prayers will be with both families.

A few years ago, a good friend of mine took a life as well as his own. He was everyone's best friend. He was geniunely a nice guy. When things like this happen, it's sometimes proof that ANYONE (even you people) could SNAP and do something they never thought they were capable of. You people with the nasty comments should really leave the family alone to grieve. It's hard enough to deal with something like this when you aren't reading hateful comments from people who KNOW NOTHING. Trust me, I know. My condolences to the families.

These kind of men are selfish boys, who if the cannot get or have their way resort to things such as this. One was just sentenced last week, but he was too selfish to take his own life, he just took hers. The only circumstance that justifies killing is in self defense, or the defense of your family or another human being. This clearly was an act of vengence, someone didn't get their way, or the satisfaction they somehow thought they deserved.

He is a murderer, he gets no respect or compassion. Glad he is gone

Yeah, the neighbors know... "he seemed like such a nice boy..." about the local serial killer or such. The neighbors never know.

sbaker if he was such a loving and caring father/grandfather why did he kill his ex and then himself?

sbaker - 7/5/2009 12:23 PM
Unless you know this man and his circumstances your comments are unfounded and makes you an ignorant and judgemental person, which in return means you will get your as well. This is a loving, caring, Father and Grandfather have some respect for the family and friends of these two people who have died tragic deaths.

Terrible outcome. We live on the street, can't believe it. Since the Friday night, you should see the stupid people driving down to take a look at the house. There is nothing to see. Please respect the neighborhood and the family.
