Clark Montessori Benefit Helping Blind Band Reach Goal

Last Update: 11/19/2009 1:07 am

Music and song in Winton Terrace Wednesday night helped propel a special band toward its historic appearance in the Rose Bowl Parade on New Year's Day.

Student musicians and singers at Clark Montessori put on a joint benefit concert with students from the Ohio State School for the Blind.

Half the money raised from the sold-out concert will help OSSB’s marching band get to the Tournament of Roses parade.

It will be the first blind band to march in the parade.
