In the not so distant future you may hear the sounds of streetcars in parts of Cincinnati.
City council approved a proposed streetcar plan Wednesday, but though questions remain on how to pay for it.
The plan calls for building a connector that goes up the hill from Over-the-Rhine to Uptownm, at the same time the city builds a downtown loop.
The old streetcar system stopped running in 1951.
City manager Milton Dohoney will now start looking for private contributors to cover part of the cost.
