Democrats on Cincinnati City Council have picked a replacement for John Cranley, who stepped down last week.
Council members announced Price Hill Democrat Greg Harris as their choice Monday afternoon.
He’ll be sworn in Wednesday and will fill the remainder of Cranley’s term, which expires at the end of this year.
Harris has run unsuccessfully for council as well as congress before.
He was among the seven people who interviewed for the job.
