CINCINNATI -- A cab driver of Ron's Cab Service was shot in North Fairmont Saturday evening.
The shooting happened on Westwood Northern Boulevard around 5:45 p.m.
Ron Richard, the owner of Ron's Cab Service, says cab driver Himid Kerdougheli was shot in the left side of the neck.
Kerdougheli drove himself to Good Samaritan Hospital and from there was transported to University Hospital.
His condition at this time is unknown.
Kerdougheli was reportedly going to pick someone up, but his cab was empty.
Richard said most cab drivers only carry change for $20 and are getting robbed especially at this time of year.
Richard also noted that most cab drivers do not have insurance and that any donations for this driver will be accepted by contacting Ron's Cab Service.
