The new executive director of the Cincinnati Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) is responding to Delta's announcement that it's dropping two of its direct international flights from here to Frankfort, Germany and London, England.
John Mok says in a statement released Wednesday that, "While we are disappointed to hear this news, we understand that in this economic downturn, Delta, like other companies has to make difficult decisions to remain a viable company. At the same time, CVG is well positioned to be first on the list for the return of these flights when the economy rebounds."
