The Kenton County Airport Board selected John C. Mok as the new executive director and CEO of the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG).
"The board and I are very excited John has accepted this position," said H. Lawson Walker II, chairman of the airport board. "He brings vast experience, a passion for the industry and the leadership necessary to keep CVG moving forward."
"I believe he is someone that will continue the great culture and values that have made CVG one of America’s best airports."
Mok brings more than 25 years of global airport leadership experience. He will join the CVG team in June, having been approved by the board at Monday’s meeting.
"CVG has a long history of providing first-class air service, unparalleled efficiency and excellent customer service. I consider it an honor and privilege to join the CVG team in helping that tradition forward," Mok said.
He has been appointed to the Airport Council International (ACI) Board of Directors for the Pacific Region, chairman of ACI’s Pacific Region Economics Committee and a member of the ACI World Economics Standing Committee. Mok holds an undergraduate degree in political science and graduate education in urban planning from Columbia University. He is married with two children.
