Butler County Holding Vaccine Clinic

BUTLER CO., Ohio -- The Butler County Health Department will be holding a voluntary H1N1 Vaccination Clinic on Tuesday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the High School Cafeteria.

Please review the following information:

A parent or legal guardian must accompany the child or an adult family member with written consent from the parent or legal guardian may bring the child.

There will be a representative from Fairfield School District present to verify your child's enrollment in Fairfield Schools.

Younger siblings of the Fairfield School District student may also attend the clinic for H1N1 vaccinations.

Children from 6 month to Pre-Kindergarten age who reside in the Fairfield School District are also eligible. Children must be accompanied by a parent of legal guardian who must provide a picture ID probing residency in the school district.

Pre-registration is strongly encouraged. To pre-register:

-Access the H1N1 vaccine web site at https://h1n1vaccine.odh.ohio.gov/

If your child has a chronic health condition we will provide the injectible vaccine, all other children will receive nasal mist. If you prefer the injectible vaccine we ask that you wait for a later clinic date since we are experiencing a shortage. Thank you for understanding and for assisting us to protect as many of our children as possible.

There is no charge for the vaccine. We ask that you not use your cell phones in the vaccination area.

As more vaccine become available we will return to the district to vaccinate students in grades 7-12 and to also provide injectible flu vaccine.
