United Way, as an organization focused on advancing the common good, is guided by national standards that mandate overhead and fundraising cost remain modest. In 2007 -08 Butler County United Way's administrative costs were 6% and fundraising costs were 7% as per audit. Posting by Maureen Noe, President/CEO, Butler County United Way.
