CINCINNATI -- Bootsy Collins celebrated Thanksgiving at the Kroger in Walnut Hills Wednesday afternoon.

He signed autographs for fans and hosted a free raffle for turkeys and food baskets.

"We wanted to give back to the community in which I grew up in," Collins said. "I used to live right down the street."

In that same spirit of giving back, he and his foundation made a new UC fight song, premiering the music video Wednesday night at his restaurant downtown.

Bootsy's goal for the video is to raise money for the Bootsy Colinns Foundation and a UC football domed practice field, which could keep coach Kelly here in Cincinnati.

"I don't think he's going nowhere," Collins said of Kelly. "I think he's going to be here because we got a winning team and a winning situation."
