The attorney for Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Leon Hall entered a not guilty plea on his client's behalf to charges of operating a vehicle under the influence and driving outside of his lane.

Ed Perry, Hall's attorney, appeared in a Clermont County courtroom Friday morning.

Hall, 24, was cited on Sunday for drunk driving and driving left of center on Ohio 125 Union Township.

Reports say Hall allegedly had a blood alcohol level of 0.149, almost twice the legal limit in Ohio of 0.08.

A cruiser cam video shows Hall telling the trooper he was rushing home because his wife was having a baby.

Perry had no comment on the case as he left the courthouse.

A preliminary hearing was set for April 20.
