Cincinnati Police Chief Tom Streicher has written up one of his Assistant Chiefs, accusing him of being “disruptive.”

In a letter to the City Manager, Chief Streicher claims Lt. Col. Richard Janke developed a pattern of "inappropriate" behavior.

Streicher claims Janke violated the department's code of ethics when he unnecessarily raised his voice and interrupted Assistant Chief, Lt. Col. Vincent Demasi.

The incident allegedly happened during a recent meeting in front of a dozen members of the department.

In his letter to the City Manager, Streicher wrote some of Janke's actions have been insubordinate toward him.

Streicher is recommending Janke run a new Special Projects Bureau in which he has limited interaction with his peers and subordinates.
