I just find it stunning that so many people actually want to defend this punks. On comments on some of the earlier links they're actually saying we shouldn't judge these poor kids because, hey, we don't know what they're feeling. And then there's the one that suggests that ALL teenagers are capable of such things. Well, I don't know about the rest of you, but I KNOW that I would have NEVER, EVER done something like this. See, I didn't spend my youth trying to destroy everything I came in contact with. I was taught that destroying anything was WRONG. I had to take care of my things and those that belonged to anyone else as well, especially things belonging to others. And there's no way I would ever have done something like this that could have easily killed someone. It's flat out idiotic to try to defend these punk thugs just because they're young. Yes, I believe many young people are too immature to consider consequences for everything they do. But it takes a special kind of sick to think something like this would be fun or entertaining. And didn't I read that this happened at like 1AM? Were mamma and daddy too stoned or drunk to notice that their kids were out roaming the streets in the middle of the night? That's what's wrong with society these days. We've thrown responsibility and accountability out the window. As someone said earlier, if these kids were so remorseful about what they'd done they would have turned themselves in instead of having to be hunted down. And then there's the parents and family of the 18yr old refusing to help police find him. That right there shows you what kind of family he comes from. I can guarantee you that if I'd done something this stupid and cruel my mother would have turned my butt in in a heartbeat. She'd have still loved me, but no way would she try to help me get away with a crime. And THAT'S what makes both the kids AND their parents dirt bags. Shame on all of them.

Seeing as how the thugs have a fondness for rocks, why not give them a few years to turn a lot of big rocks into gravel?
