A convicted murderer will not get a new trial.
The 6th Circuit Court of Appeals denied the appeal for Vincent Doan.
Prosecutors say he kidnapped and killed Carrie Culberson of Blanchester in 1997.
Culberson's body has never been found, but the conviction was based on testimony.
Doan will remain in prison on a life sentence without the the possibility of parole.
