It looks like the Amelia Christmas parade could be happening after all.
Just recently the village canceled the parade because of the controversy over calling it a "holiday" parade.
Now a group of volunteers is launching its own efforts to make sure the parade goes on as planned. The group is not connected to the village's government.
The group is waiting on insurance paperwork to go through before applying for a permit.
It is also meeting with the Clermont County Sheriff's Office and Ohio State Highway Patrol about traffic issues.
If approved, the parade would be held December 13 as originally scheduled.
