I know this family very we'll and it makes me very mad that some of you would even question that. THINGS HAPPEN. bottomline. There are always times when your child slips away and you don't even realize it, so how dare you judge them for that.

The people that are bashing this family have no clue, as the media only gives a piece of the story.....the little boy was a twin....an idential one at that. Stop and think, kids running around in the yard playing, if you saw one you might not realize the other wasn't around, it was party with many people there. The family has tremedous faith in God, and would do anything, for anyone, including the ones that are bashing them for an ACCIDENT. They would by no means let thier child purposely out of their sight and wish them to drown. Shame on you for thinking that. Prayers for the Dells!

Instead of bashing on this poor family and wasting your lives and writing cruel and coldheart messages about them why not instead pray for them and the child and just think about what they are going through. They lost a CHILD for goodness sake and all you want to do is try to hurt them more and make them feel guilty about something that was beyond their control. Who are you to judge. Leave this poor family alone and go do something useful. This is a hard time for them and are grieving right now, and the last thing they need is for people to be passing judgement. I pray for you because you feel the need to be so cruel hearted and I hope God forgives you. Shame shame shame. I'm not passing judgement here, I just wish for you to understand that life and death happen for a reason, you cannot control either and what happened happened. My prayers go out to this poor family and I hope the best for you and your child who will forever be smiling down on you from above. I am so sorry for your loss.

The Dell Family is one of the best families I know. They are Excellent parents! Accidents can happen to ANYONE and happen so fast! Think about the family before you decide to make judgmental comments. They are already hurting and don't need to hear such comments. They are AMAZING people who have touched the lives of so many. My heart goes out to them.

Well said naistewart...it is so sad that there a re some who get enjoyment out of bashing others and delight in their pain. Accidents happen so fast, especially with little ones. My children have slipped into our pool right before my eyes, and thenk God we were right there to get them out. Even the most vigilant of parents have lost shildren in horrific ACCIDENTS...our prayers are with this family...

This can happen to anyone, anytime. You can be the best of parents/grandparents and still this can happen. Shame on those that so harshly judge this family. I'm so sorry for this family.

to all who judge this family, may god have mercy on you and your family. As said before, this family is one of a kind, and is absolutely responsible. In a minutes time, this tragedy occurred. EVERY parent has at one point found their child in harms way, some are luckier than others and don't find themselves in this type of situation and thank GOD for that. He was extracted by the Army Medic for whom the party was held for. He quickly got him out of the pool and began lifesaving procedures alongside of another family member who is a lifeguard. I attended the gathering and feel it is vitally necessary to clarify to those who desire to be judgmental, that they are only further hurting the hearts of a family that has lost something so dear to them. What is to gain by saying such negative things, the consequences are already big enough. Please have some compassion for this mourning family.

where were the adults?? Lack of adults watching the kids is why this happened.

My prayers and thoughts are with this child and his family, this is just heart breaking. I was just at the pool saturday for the first time this summer with my daughter who will be 2, at my uncle's house, there were other kids, and a few other adults. Try not to judge, accidents happen so fast, i had my eye on not only my 3 kids, plus the other younger kids that couldn't swim just like all the other adults that were and my daughter still made it to the steps of the pool before i seen her. Kids love water, and they are fast, and before you know it there out of your sight. I can't even image what the parents and the rest of the family is going though!!! To lose a child is just awful! My heart aches for this family!
