JEFFERSONVILLE, Ky. (AP) - State police say three people have been fatally shot at an eastern Kentucky home.
Kentucky State Police Trooper Ralph Lockard says the shootings early Monday involved a woman and two men, one of whom the woman had an emergency protective order against.
Lockard says that man, 44-year-old Tony Patterson, allegedly broke into the home and shot 29-year-old Amy Davis and another man. The third victim was not immediately identified by police. Lockard says Patterson was also shot to death but police did not immediately determine how he was shot.
Lockard says three children ages 4 to 12 were inside the home at the time but were not hurt.
The shootings happened near Jeffersonville in Montgomery County, about 45 miles east of Lexington.
