A teenager accused of killing two men during a shootout on a Cincinnati interstate back in March is behind bars.
The Evendale Police Department along with members of the Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) arrested the 17-year-old suspect Wednesday morning after they received a tip about his whereabouts.
The shooting and crash happened along southbound I-75 near Glendale Milford Road just after 2:30 a.m. on March 18. Officials believe the incident started with a fight at the Garage Sports Bar & Grill in Sharonville.
Two Westwood men, Keith Cobb and Scott Neblett Jr. died at the scene. The Hamilton County Coroner’s Office says 25-year-old Cobb and 25-year-old Neblett Jr. died from gunshot wounds and not the crash.
Investigators said the two weapons used in the shooting were an assault rifle and a .9mm handgun.
The teen's name has not been released because he is a juvenile.
