WILMINGTON, Ohio - The owner of a Wilmington bar was stabbed to death early Tuesdaymorning.
Wilmington police say they were dispatched around 2 a.m. to theManhattan Lounge at 99 South Street for reports of a stabbing.
Upon arrival, they found James Xidas, the owner of the ManhattanLounge, stabbed. He was transported to Clinton Memorial Hospital byan ambulance and then flown by a medical helicopter to Miami ValleyHospital in Dayton where he later died from his injuries.
Wilmington Police Chief Duane Weiland says they are activelyinvestigating the stabbing as a homicide.
