Waynesville runner completes MOMS for a Cure 5K Run


Waynesville runner Cristina Hyde completed the MOMS for a Cure 5K Run on June 28 in Oakwood.

The 37-year-old runner finished in 36:37.0.

According to results accessed June 28 at the Speedy Feet website, race organizers said 42 runners finished the 5K race, which began and ended at Oakwood High School, 1200 Far Hills Ave.

Walter Osborne, 38, of Dayton, was the men's and overall winner with a finishing time of 18:47.8, while Melissa Butler, 38, also of Dayton, was the winner in the women's category with a time of 22:33.3.
