Two men arrested after deputies find 425 pounds of marijuana in traffic stop

WASHINGTON TWP., Ohio, -- Two men are in jail Tuesday after Warren County deputies discovered 425 pounds of marijuana during a traffic stop.

Gregory Clayton, 31, and Jason Rapheal, 29, were taken into custody after they were pulled over on SB I-71 in Washington Township at about 2 a.m.

After deputies stopped their 2006 Chrysler Pacifica for a traffic offense near the 32 mile marker, the marijuana was detected inside their vehicle. Authorities said the two were transporting it.

Clayton, of Cincinnati, and Rapheal, of Brooklyn, New York, were taken to the Warren County Jail.

Both men have been charged with drug trafficking, drug abuse and possession of criminal tools, all felonies.

Bond was set at $331,200 for each suspect.
