SPRINGBORO, Ohio -- A Springboro school bus driver resigned from her job after being arrested for driving under the influence.
The incident happened Tuesday morning when drivers reported to police that Sherry Callahan was driving erratically and nearly forced them off the road while she was behind the wheel of the school bus.
Callahan's blood-alcohol content tested at .085. The legal limit for commercial drivers is .04.
Callahan was given a misdemeanor charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, endangering children and other commercial drivers criminal offenses.
No children on the bus at the time were harmed.
Callahan is scheduled to be in court Dec. 30.
