FRANKLIN, Ohio -- Police found more than meth in a house they suspected was manufacturing the illegal drug in the 700 block of Forrest Avenue Tuesday.
Two children were found in the Franklin home when police executed a search warrant there after receiving an anonymous tip about the manufacturing of methamphetamine, according to the department.
Police found chemicals and equipment commonly used to produce the highly addictive drug at the house with the kids. The process of producing meth is highly toxic and volatile. Clean up of most meth labs usually involves hazardous material units.
A woman was at home with the children at the time of the search.
The names of the adults who were producing the meth have not been released.
Charges are pending.
