James Morger: Father of two accused of sexting with 12-year-old girl to be arraigned

DEERFIELD Twp., Ohio -- A father of two children who is accused of sexting a 12-year-old girl and sharing her photos with several people is scheduled to appear in a Warren County courtroom Tuesday for arraignment.

James Morger, 26, met the girl over the phone message app Kik where they exchanged the sexually explicit pictures, according to Clearcreek Township Police Chief John Terrill.

Police said they went to Morger's house with a search warrant and found a large quantity of marijuana, so they added drug charges.

The FBI got involved in the case when Craigslist ads showing the girl surfaced. Police say someone posted the girl's picture on Craigslist and offered her for sex.

The case also landed a 15-year-old boy in juvenile jail on a rape charge after he allegedly had sex with her.

Police said when they started investigating they quickly learned the girl wasn't just sending photos of herself to the 15-year-old boy she knew from Springboro schools, but also to Morger.

Morger faces multiple charges, including pandering obscenity, disseminating matter harmful to juveniles and endangering juveniles.

The drug charges include possession, trafficking and cultivation of marijuana.

He also is charged with possession of criminal tools.

Morger's bond is  $375,000.
