Vehicle possibly set on fire in Over-the-Rhine

CINCINNATI -- A small vehicle was entrenched in flames early Friday and police say it may have been an intentional act.

The incident happened at about 3 a.m. in the 200 block of Wade Street.

A fire investigator was called to the scene after officials said someone may have poured a flammable liquid on top of the vehicle.

Man shot in leg in Roselawn

CINCINNATI -- A Roselawn resident reported to police early Friday that an abandoned vehicle was parked in the middle of a road.

When officers arrived at the corner of Greenland Place and Hartland Drive, they found the vehicle with multiple gunshot holes and blood.

Police connected the shooting to a man who was dropped off at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center with gunshot wounds.

The victim was intoxicated and would not cooperate with officers, according to officials.

Man wounded in North Avondale shooting

CINCINNATI – A man is recovering after a shooting in North Avondale.

Police were alerted to the incident after the man turned up at University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

Officers said they believe the shooting happened in the 3600 block of Eaton Lane overnight Friday.

No other details have been released.
